Getting Over You
By: Johnlyn Medios
Sitting alone, clouded with the memories of the past
Thinking of you, our love that we built didn't last
I want to run back and be alone for sometime to hide
Yearning for his love yet I know you were on her side
First date, first kiss, first hug, and first travel we had
Little did I know, she's still the one, and I feel so bad
Too dumb, too blind to love you to the moon and back
Silently staring at my window as I wish to win you back
It was gone through the days that we spent together
You and I, somehow I realized, we are really over
I felt your cold arms too languid to embrace me
Slowly, you drifted away and choose her over me
My love, I do not want to loose you at all cost
Of all the people I know, I love you the most
The connection was lost between you and I
Now your presence was gone, I still wonder why
It is like living in hell and pain yet nothing to gain
In the end of the game, there is no one to blame
Some people aren't meant to be together
But it doesn't mean that you will be alone forever
For now, I will find my way back as I walk and cry
To find the courage to bid you my sincerest goodbye

Leaving without anger is always best and also freeing.
a sad story indeed but it is about my friend's heartbreak...not mine.
