The graves aren't as silent as you think. Listen, so that you may hear the rumblings of the bones and bodies sealed within their coffins. Pray that you will be safe from the terror they will one day bring upon the world. For so long they have been trapped beneath the words of well-wishers, but the tears of loved ones have seeped between the wooden cracks.

Be wary of the day you walk past the iron gates that keep them bound. When the day comes, which it must, that those gates swing open and the dead walk free, all humanity will be doomed. Your children are not safe. And the families that you hold so close to your heart will turn on you with a growl upon their breath and redness in their eyes. Do not let them graze your skin or their hatred will turn into yours and you will be as one of them.

Hatred lies dormant in the heart of every man. And on this day of doom, it will spring to life as an animal escaping its cage. Teeth will turn to fangs and nails into claws. What once were beautiful smiles will be now a grimace of evil. When you hear the sound of laughter ringing through the air, do not let it give you hope. For it will be naught but a false hope. And what else is false hope but as a dream scattered in the wind.

Sniff the air and look above. That is not snow but the grey remains of the cities that have burned. No one is safe from the darkness that will fall upon the earth. Your prayers will not be answered and your pleading disregarded. Fear will breed in the soul of every man, woman, and child. And in that fear, all goodness will be wiped away.

When the screams have stopped and the crying of babes is no more, look to the horizon. You will see the sun setting for its final time. And when the whole world has been plunged into darkness, so you shall also be.
