Thought I have put in numerous hours thinking about it, I have not yet taken the time to formulate coherent thoughts and laid out exactly what I mean when I mention the word paradise.

For the past few months, this has been a word very important to me. By definition, it is an ideal or idyllic place or state.

However, I possess a fairly logical and realistic view of the world in most regards. This may not seem to tie into viewing the world as a paradise.

Thought, paradise to me, refers more to a state of mind than anything else. It is finding paradise in the small things in life, as well as the large things.

Paradise to me is the feeling of driving with all the windows down, listening to relaxing or nostalgic music, with the smell of fresh rain on the pavement and a strong cool breeze blowing through my hair.

Paradise to me is sitting and talking with a like-minded person in the early evening by a lake with the frogs croaking and the crickets chirping lightly in the distance while we discuss life and gaze off into the distance.

Paradise is lying next to someone in bed feeling safe and secure and talking late into the night while holding each other until the talking gets goofy because we are both so tired and then waking up next to them with the same feeling of joy, security, and stability.

Paradise to me is putting on all the christmas lights in my room, lighting incense, eating some candy and watching a movie.

Paradise to me is sitting atop a rock on a mountain that I just climbed while the sun just begins to peak through the treetops and light up the brook that is babbling downstream while watching the dragonflies dance around me.

There is so much absolute beauty in the world that there is no room for negativity. There is no time for any toxicity in my life anymore. These paradise moments make everything worth it. And someday, just someday, whether alone or with someone by my side, I can make these moments eternal.

I will discover even more paradise moments and will learn how to implement them in my day to the point where everything is paradise. Then I will truly be happy. It is then that I will reach the true epitome of bliss, happiness, joy, paradise.
