MORNING DETOX WATER

We all have those mornings when our alarm goes off and getting out of bed seems impossible. Whether it is a Monday or we had a little too much to drink the night before, we all have experienced them, and they are not fun. However, this doesn't mean that we can't start our day with a healthy kick! My secret tip is actually very simple and it involves water (with a few extra ingredients). It is a great way to start your metabolism and begin your morning with a refreshing glass of energy!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lemon
-Mint leaves
-Ginger
- 1/2 small cucumber
Steps:
Grab your favorite mug or cup and a cutting knife.
From the 1/2 lemon, cut a few slices and place it in the cup.
Grab your mint leaves and using your hand break them so that you have smaller pieces; throw them into the cup
Grab a grater so you can make ginger flakes or you can simply cut some slices if you prefer that.
From the 1/2 cucumber, cut a few slices and place it in the cup.
Once all the ingredients are in the cup, add ice and water.
Place your cup in the fridge and leave it over night.
In the morning, you can either drink it directly from the cup or you can filter out the ginger and mint pieces.
Enjoy!

The recipe sounds easy enough reminds me of the fermentation process with rice water for the hair. I'm going to try this out soon, not sure if I'll use the same recipe though, may try to mix the fruits and vegetables up.-
Sounds good! Let me know what you think.
