STORMS: THE WAY WE LOVE LAGUNA

Riding ribbon roads
that rock like a raft
on rough seas
flying by
while the surf pounds
down town
and the street signs
swing in the night gale
and the tide swims
under the boardwalk
for a look at the streetlights
reflecting red disco party
splashes in its wake
rain comes begging
for an encore
dropping applause
on my soft top
while i maze in the
dark city streets.

Cool poem Lisa! I'd think it'd be cool to hear this as lyrics to a song. Keep it up!

I love the erratic rhyme, short lines, and feeling in this.

An interesting work of prose. Nicely done!
Feel free to adapt it!
