WARM EMBRACE

An ocean of grass lay before us
The bright yellows and oranges cover the sea of grass with a golden glow
With my back against your chest, I can feel the rise and fall with every breath you take
Your arms embrace me with such warmth
The bright beams from the sun are nothing compared to your loving embrace
I never want this moment to end
Just then the final ray of gold sinks behind the horizon
The cold breeze sweeps against my cheek
You begin to hold me closer until the dark night covers the sky
I turn into you and close my eyes
Ending the day with an embrace much warmer than the sun
