October
I love to be creative
All joy
Until the weight of living
Strangles me
And I'm smothered in the meaninglessness
Of everything
And it feels
Like what cat litter smells like
And then I let go
And I fly into my wonderful October
Over rooftops and trees
Drunk on sweet black cider and the scent of rain soaked cobble streets
Oh look
There's a man dressed in a santa clause suit driving an apple shaped carriage
Being pulled by winged horses
And fireflies .......
Dancing with the red leaves
while the moon watches

I feel this. It's crazy how things can seem so perfect, and then it's like everything just sinks into oblivion out of nowhere. -

These memories. I remember going app picking with my family in October, getting pumpkin donuts, and other things. It was just fun, running around, climbing trees, picking out apples, and being away from the city to just explore and enjoy the company of what was loving family. This poem is such a moment of the beauty of life, and the rollercoaster that life is, with the dips and rise. -

That line is literally perfect, I 100% know exactly the feeling you are describing. I love little throw away lines like this. -
Love the analogies in this one! Great piece!
