The pain makes it hard to smile,

That's why I'm constantly saying hello with a frown,

My world has since been turned upside down,

It's not that I can't be happy,

Sometimes I just don't know how,

On the surface,

I am here,

But subconsciously,

I've been eaten away like a black hole,

Afloat a middle of nowhere,

Tossed around another dimension,

I appear present,

But I'm truly missing,

Distant gravitational pushed out of orbit,

I wanna be here with you,

But my heart says I can't afford it,

Too much trauma,

Too much turmoil,

I'm on the defense,

I don't wanna be awoken,

I lie between a black heart, and one antartically iced an age internally broken,

Yes these words are spoken,

But shallow beneath the surface,

My soul has been left frozen.

"But my heart says I can't afford it, Too much trauma, Too much turmoil, I'm on the defense, I don't wanna be awoken," Wow. Your vulnerability is appreciated.

Aww, thanks so much. Appreciate the love and support, and you seeing my heart for what it is.
