IN HONOR OF LIN MIRANDA

Lin , what are you doing right now?
Still writing your way into legend?
A quiet boy from the heights with a lopsided grin
And soft brown eyes
Looking out at us through a broken window
A burned out soul
Simmering
Like a storm caged in
I like your point of view
It's a volcano with a gentle rage
I used to have a straight forward view of philosophy and ideals
Until you took idle mediocrity
And brutalized it with thought

I like the duality. This is me. -
SimmeringLike a storm caged in
I love the build up, "A burned out soul, simmering, like a storm caged in." It's the idea that the harder you push someone, the stronger they rise, even though it took a lot of them, it's a promised redemption. -

Thank you first of all !! Yes !!! That was my idea when i thought of it. Lin has been an impactful inspiration to me because he is a writer. A writer of ideas and a writer of music who is also drawn to other writers. He came from modest beginnings to make a way through writing and accomplished so much more than that as we all know:)
