I'm a morning cup of coffee

And A nighttime lullaby

I'm the twenty in your pocket

And Your very last goodbye.

I'm the lake atop a mountain

Clear and Crisp and cold

I'm the fortune in the cookie

And the halo made of gold.

I'm told there are exceptions

To every single rule

I'm the sinner I'm the saint

I'm the canvas and the tool.

I'll be certain that I love you

Til my mind is filled with doubt

And when the day is over

I'll be humble, I'll be proud.

I'm confusing and confused

I'm restless but at peace

I'm the silence in the echo

And the darkness that you breathe.

So if you ever wonder

If I'm the fire or the flame

I'm the light inside the darkness

And when you're lost I am the way

Thank you! In one of my other comments to you I said something about not always rhyming, but as I read these I notice they almost all rhyme! lol. I'll have to post some other stuff.
