IS TRUMP A NATIONALIST OR A PATRIOT?

So apparently Trump said he is a nationalist but does anyone know exactly what a nationalist is? Sure, there are beliefs it’s a more liberal mindset and some believe it’s more of a dictator mindset. So how do we know what is true? We don’t and that’s the problem and what Trump is banking on. If you look throughout history a Nationalist has been both.

The reality is there are several types of nationalism throughout history going from all the way right to all the way left and even the middle. It just depends on what type of nationalism you are into. I mean all you have to do is look up the history of nationalism and you will see several types of nationalism with very different beliefs and mindsets.

So, when Trump calls himself a nationalist what exactly does he mean? Does he consider himself a white nationalist, a liberal nationalist, left-wing nationalist, liberation nationalism national conservatism nationalist, romantic nationalist, post-colonial nationalist, revolutionary nationalist, cultural nationalist, expansionist nationalist, School of anarchism nationalist, religious nationalist, pan-nationalist or diaspora nationalist? All these have different ideologies and comes from different parts of history.

I don’t know, I guess with all these different definitions I would like to know what exactly the Trump stands for before I cast my vote on someone who supports him. The problem with that is we don’t know what Trump really stands for. We only know what he says and over half the things he says isn’t true. I mean his own staff says don’t listen to what he says, pay attention to what he does. Okay, I’m paying attention and what I see is he has lied, made excuses, blamed others for his failures, doesn’t take accountability, and treats people like shit.

On the news, it was said his base doesn’t care if he lies, treats people like shit, and so forth. That is what Trump is counting on, that you are so fed up with our politicians who lie also that you won’t care if he lies as long as he is getting results which our politicians haven’t been doing. Basically, the man thinks we are all stupid because we kept voting for politicians who manipulated us with lies so he thought why can’t I do the same and making a fortune while doing it.

Problem is this also opens doors to what you do care about but object to. For instance, not holding a person accountable for crimes committed against you because the person has a social status or money to pay for a good defense. Trump continuing to call people good people even though they have pled guilty to crimes, feeling sorry for them, saying they don’t deserve this. Well, why does he consider them good people if they actually committed and pled guilty to a crime, because they are rich, white and successful?

Let me give you an example of what I mean. Robert Richards IV who was the heir to the Du Pont fortune was charged with raping his 3-year-old daughter and sexually assaulting his infant son. This man actually pled guilty to the charge and agreed to a plea deal that would have given him roughly 15 years in jail. However, due to his status, the judge dismissed the plea deal, giving him no jail time, and stating that she did not think Richards who was 6’4 would fare well in prison. She sentenced him to a treatment center instead.

Does Trump feel bad for this guy because he is rich, white and successful? What about the teenager in Texas that stole beer drove drunk and killed a family. This kid’s family was extremely rich and paid for a defense for this kid claiming he had a theoretical condition called affluenza. Affluenza is a condition essentially claiming a person who was raised in wealth and has never known consequences cannot be held accountable for their actions. So, in other words if you are rich you can do what the fuck you want, even kill someone as Trump claims he can do and not lose a vote or a thing. Is this the America you want?

Trump claims he loves American and that why he is a nationalist. No, if you love America you are a patriot and to be a patriot you must represent all Americans and treat everyone equally under the law. We are not perfect but there are laws in this country that keep checks and balances of liberty and justice for all in this country, not just for a particular group of people.
