ALL ELSE FALLS AWAY

Call me easy,

Call me silly,

Call me gullible,

Rebellious . . .

I am not for the fight.

My wings hang down,

My shoulders slump.

My heart rests, for

At the sound of silken,

Melancholy notes and strains

The accusations, the

Titles fall away in shadow.

I am but a human,

With a holy stamp

Within my nature.

I am but a human,

I am no empath,

No INFJ,

No millenial--

And count me out.

I am but human,

And here I sit with a saddened mouth,

Knowing there is more to my

Confusion, folly, and sin than

The names of earthly wisdom,

And because of this,

Grace and perfect sovereignty

Reign over, and surround me.

I am just a human.
