Writing is a journey. Just like a good book, the writing process surely comes along with its own twists and turns. Some trails will be quickly abandoned, some will woefully lead to nowhere, and others to great horizons (isn’t that the best part?). Like anything worth doing, the work can be hard and the hours long. There are times when we all need a good laugh, a kick in the butt, or a thought-provoking reminder of why we do what we do. Below is my collection of funny, inspiring, and reflective quotes for writers. For a daily pick-me-up, you may even want to choose one or two to display in your writing space.
