Your dreams are stolen from sitcoms

And only parodies of what you really want

I play a bit part.

I can't play

I don't like aprons

Or hanging baskets of flowers

We would wander through

Too daily

You would end up having an affair with a

Woman who wanted her

Pony princess life

And the writers wouldn't know what to do about the story gap

When I didn't show up to work on Monday.

The hiatus would last a few weeks

You would get a new wife

(College sweetheart from your past)

And she wants two and a half children

By the time she's maxed out your credit cards

Found herself a book club

And a rope of pearls

Panic will set in

But you're on a contract

You will never find me again.
