Cracks in the sidewalk

Grandmother's snapping peas on her front porch

Wearing the same apron that belonged to her mother

Her grandson laying in a hammock eating potato chips

She revels in this kind of radiance

A kind of restrained joy

It doesnt escape her notice

And she is amused

I'm washing dishes

And it's raining outside

It's my own amusement to notice it

This sweet lull

I do enjoy this quiet charm

It doesn't escape my notice

Beautiful and amazing

Hammock swaying in the breeze kind of day

This is so beautiful! These moments are short and fleeting, I love to savour them while they last.

The simplicity of this is beautiful.
