Starting over is always scary, thrilling, and yet still a breath of fresh air. That's because it is a fresh start! However, with all the excitement of starting over, there is always some underlying anxiety. As creatures of habit, we get comfortable in the current routine of our everyday lives. Although, sometimes we cannot help long for something new. All it takes is a leap of faith into a new beginning to move towards the life we truly want-- the life we truly deserve. So don't fear change, embrace it!

New beginnings can be big or small: breakups, makeups, moving to a new place, graduating, starting a new job, or even just adopting a new mindset.

No matter the change you're about to make, you are capable of making the best of it. I'm not saying that all new beginnings will feel like the best decision you've ever made. In fact, starting over can sometimes go awry, but that doesn't mean it's a failure. In fact, these experiences will teach you more about what truly makes you happy. Not only this but it is times like these where you are reminded of the inner strength you possess when you go outside of your comfort zone.

While some new beginnings can be tough, others can be life changing in the best way possible. Making changes, big or small will help you grow as a person and move towards the person you want to be, not the person you are comfortable being. Despite how confident and put-together other people may seem through our own eyes, nobody is completely satisfied with their life as they may seem. So don't let your insecurities hold you back, let them help you move forward.

It is important to take time to look around and appreciate the life you have. Furthermore, think about what risks you took to get there that made it all worth it in the end. Then, think about the risks you need to take to move on and start over for your next exciting adventure.

But most importantly, don't be afraid to take those risks. The start of something new will always lead you to something greater.

Replace intimidation with curiosity. Be your authentic self with everyone you meet, so you make authentic connections.
